Not surprisingly, I get lots of emails looking for students that want to GET PAID to do research over the summer.  It is often difficult to know how to get that information out to the right students.  So, I thought why not just make a list here.  So without further ado, in no particular order:

The Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society, Career & Leadership Development and the Director of Undergraduate Research are teaming up to offer an informal workshop designed to help you find a great summer research experience either here at Sewanee or at schools across the country.

The workshop will be Tuesday, February 1 from 5:30 to 7:00pm in Woods 216.

Scholarship Sewanee is an annual conference that highlights the research projects of Sewanee students.

Undergraduate research is one of the most important pedagogical advances in the last decade. Like other forms of experiential learning, UR gets students involved with the subject matter at a deeper level--as active learners rather than passive recipients of material or rote learners of procedures.
